melissa williams [aka melly] was born in the Australian Sunshine State but classifies herself as a New South Welshwoman, gets lost in book stores, regularly indulges in celluloid reality, loves to whip up gourmet meals in the kitchen, swears that one day she will learn to speak German properly, adores candles and fresh flowers, married her high school sweetheart, fears an apocalyptic zombie rage-virus, regularly spoils her cavoodle Harley, loves walking along the harbour, is decorated with ink, seasonally switches between blonde and brunette, has soul-mates, favours painted nails & dangly earrings, reads more paper than electronic, arguably the Australian encyclopedic curator of Law & Order SVU & The Simpsons, likes her crème brûlée unadulterated, and her pancakes thick & fluffy, is obsessed with vampires & zombies, detests creepy-crawlies & people who take too long to order coffee, makes up crazy dances for her devilishly handsome husbandbelieves in good, would always be dressed in Lanvin, Balmain, Givenchy if she could, defines comedy in The Simpsons references, supports her football team wholeheartedly, adores Tex-Mex, wants to be a master of the crossbow, loves the smell of rain & evening jasmine, feels at one with nature when hiking, is addicted to the internet, is always on the hunt for a really good skim-flat-white, is James Taylor’s biggest fan, gets rowdy with tequiladreams every night, always dips her choctop into her movie popcorn, would hate a world without French bubbles, adores Pantone 1765, almost always wishes she was lying on the sand in the sun, has watched Pulp Fiction over 100 times and although she is a hopeless Francophile she will forever be smitten with Sydney.

  2. The key to learning German properly might be to live in a German-speaking country. Even though I heard it can be hard, as Europeans like to practice their English on foreigners.

    I was wondering whether I can use your photo for my Facebook page ‘C is for Coffee’. The idea is to combine coffee, travel and photography. Basically just like your photo.
