sunday seven

We caught up with friends Jared & Pete for dinner on Friday night at a local Thai restaurant. After 2 bottles of wine it seemed like a great idea to come back to our place for old fashioned cocktails. Epic hangover Saturday morning meant I was in no condition to work out.

This was the first weekend in over 2 months that Jay & I have both been home all weekend! It was nice to stay local and just relax.

Today we walked around Darling Harbour with Harley, got some lunch, cleaned the house and did some errands. Gracie is staying over tonight and I’m making a roast dinner.

I’ve never laughed as much as when…

I’m overtired and then find something silly that makes me giggle that leads into hysterical laughing with tears running down my face which usually carries on for 15 minutes or so. Or those great occasions that you’re with your girlfriends and find something funny that you can’t stop giggling about!

I’m no good at it, but I love…

telling jokes. Seriously, you’ve never met anyone as terrible as me at telling jokes. Although I still find all my jokes hilarious!

I couldn’t live without…

my husband. and clean sheets.

If I could invite any three people to dinner…

Sir David Attenborough, Blake Lively & Charlaine Harris. It’d make for some interesting conversation!

Three things I want to do before I die…

  1. Kayak in Antarctic
  2. Spend a night sleeping in a hammock high up in the Amazonian rainforest
  3. Climb to Everest base camp

As a child I…

was loud & boisterous but a little shy with adults, highly observant, fought horrifically with my brother, very sporty and bought home any injured animal I came across.

One thing I’d like to achieve this week…

100% stick to my nutrition plan within my 1200 calorie a day quota.

  1. Ahh, one day of cheating isn’t bad when you’re good the rest of the days! I just read in Glamour today too not to work out everyday, that is actually is bad (yay!). They suggested three-four times a week. See, all better now. Besides, that dinner looks AMAZING!
