throwback thursday | Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Even though I’ve posted today already, I can’t pass up an opportunity for a Throwback Thursday! Especially when it’s Ferris!

Principal Ed Rooney

“Mr Rooney….Ed….you’re a beautiful man.
Thankyou for your warmth and compassion.”
– Sloane to Rooney

“Ladies and gentlemen, you’re such a wonderful crowd, we’d like to play a little tune for you. It’s one of my personal favorites and I’d like to dedicate it to a young man who doesn’t think he’s seen anything good today – Cameron Frye, this one’s for you.”
– Ferris to NYC

Economics Teacher (roll-call)

“Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?”
“My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from
this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris
pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it it’s pretty serious.”
“Thankyou Simone.”
“No problem whatsoever!”

I think it’s time to go re-watch Ferris for the millionth time!

  1. “Incredible. One of the worst performances of my career and they never doubted it for a second.”
“That’s it! I want out of this family!”
“You wear too much eye makeup. My sister wears too much. People think she’s a whore.”
“I am very alone, very cute and very protective of my body! I do not want it violated or killed! Speak any English? DICKHEAD!!!!!!”

    Somebody stop me…

  2. P.S. I had a debate with myself just yesterday in Aldi, because this DVD was only $6.99 and I wasn’t sure if I needed to buy it. I mean, I couldn’t believe that I didn’t already own it, yet it seemed wrong to leave it behind. Leon is sure that we have it. He’s worried that I’m going to be the kind of person to buy it whenever I see it on sale.
