Hip hip hooray for Friday!!!! It’s now officially the weekend and it’s going to be a hot one! Spring is sprung and the Aussie summer is giving us a preview….temps in the late 20s….which means some quality time outdoors!!!
First, a shout out to my work buddy Phil who is doing the Sydney Marathon this Sunday as part of the Sydney Running Festival. That’s 42kms peeps! 42! Gooooo team Phil!!!
My plans for the weekend are simple. Exercise and keep away from tempting food! However, I am going to test myself a little (baby steps!) by heading out to the movies tomorrow night (to watch Fright Night – no less than Colin Farrell as a vampire. hell yeah!) so that will be a test of association. I will no longer associate watching a movie with eating a huge bucket of popcorn and lollies. I am also going to attend my first Body Combat class (of the Les Mills kind) for SSS (thats Super Saturday Session which means I target burning 1000 calories in a workout!). This evening I had another first – I did my first Body Balance class which was much harder than I expected.
